Chibi Cheerleader Abby

Here’s someone I haven’t sketched in a while (though hopefully I will be again, soon): Abby from our webcomic, Chibi Cheerleaders From Outer Space!

  1. I can’t wait for this to come back – I have missed it. As someone who has gotten caught by the pony craze I should go back and re-read the archive sometime. 😀

  3. Hi ya.

I know that you don’t remember me, but I was just swinging by to see how the cheerleaders were going.

… Do we have an eta for the story to continue? Really?

*holding my hands up*… I’m not demanding anything. It’s just that I’ve had the link on my site for a number of years now, and well… I don’t like dead links on my page. If you have moved on great. I wish you all the best. Just tell me that and I can take down the link without feeling like I was cutting anyone off from a living story.

I hope that I don’t come off as being too rude or forward, a number of people have told me that I do when writing replies and such.

I love your webcomic and I would love for it to continue, but if I have to face facts here, I have to face facts and only you can give me them.

  4. The short answer is that this version of the comic is done. We wrote ourselves into a corner, and we didn’t like where it was going.

Stacey and I went back and plotted out the story again from scratch. We have a full plot this time, including an ending (as opposed to making it up as we went), and I’ve started drawing it.

As for when? I hope soon, but it’s difficult. Not the story, per se; rather, I have a several other comic projects I’m working on with people that is taking up some time. Also, I’m starting work on a new guide book for Manga Studio, that I’d like to get done by the end of the year.

So, I can’t say for certain when Chibi will begin anew. I’d like to do it soon, but I don’t know. I am sorry you’ve had to wait this long, and I would totally understand if you dropped this link. All I can suggest in the meantime is to follow me on Facebook (/doughillsart) or on Twitter (@DNHills), and you should hear when Chibi (or my other projects) become available for reading.

I do appreciate the support you have given in the past, and I hope you still will in the future. 🙂
